Another EXCITING day on the trail!  Maybe a bit too exiting for a few of our club members!   There are really just two significant obstacles on this trail, The Flopper and V-Notch, and both created some thrilling times.

On the way up a couple of the rigs got some air on V-Notch.   I’m pretty sure Ron was the ‘winner’ here getting his classic Bronco to the edge of his comfort zone!    Once past the v-Notch the drive was bumpy but un-eventful to the lake.

A couple of the guys went fishing, but sadly didn’t catch anything.   A few of the guys walked around the lake, and a couple adventurous souls even climbed to the top of the waterfall.  After our fun and a bit of lunch we headed back down the trail.  Again the majority of the drive was bumpy but un-eventful in a good way.

Howard was first down the v-notch and managed to get a wee bit tippy.  Fortunately he was able to to drive out of it without any damage.  We got the rest of the group through the obstacle and it was on to The Flopper.

The most exciting moment of the day goes to Rolf diving down The Flopper.  He was going just slow enough that as he tipped, the front bumper hit the rocks and he just stopped right there, not even a scratch on the bumper.   The guys flew quickly into action and in a few seconds had a winch out and on him.  This got some pressure on the back side of the 4-runner allow him to finish driving down the obstacle.  GREAT WORK TEAM!!!
