A wild and wonderful day! We had 7 rigs out on a Monday to tackle the difficult Holy Cross Trail. With the group we had four that were getting to run this trail for the very first time. And a mid-summer Monday was perfect, we only encountered two other rigs on this trail which is normally busy on the weekends.
The trip was uneventful as we worked our way up the trail to the trail’s premier obstacle French Creek. Here we had a relatively normal amount of trail and error as each driver chose a route through the rocks. Some had more luck than others with their first choice, so some had to make a couple attempts to make their way up and over the rocks.
After a number of challenging rocks and the mud pits, the group made it to Holy Cross City where they enjoyed lunch.
After lunch we made our return trip through the various obstacles.
Another amazing day enjoying the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
