A number of people have questioned the China Wall seasonal closure. Here is a link to the Forest Service documents regarding the closures. China Wall is 212 & 204 on Park County.

Although the weather is getting nice and we've all got the wheeling bug, please make sure to check the trail before you go- we are still looking at seasonal and emergency closures.

China Wall is closed until 6/15. The Colorado Four Wheelers are working with the Forest Service and Stay the Trail to open it on schedule and in good shape. Please, please, respect the seasonal closures. It helps the trail recover from the winter and spring moisture and the Bighorn Sheep use that area for lambing. If we don't respect the seasonal closures, our trail could be shut down permanently.

Also, please be aware that the Forest Service can fine up to $5000 for being on a closed trail- think of how many Jeep parts that could buy!!

The cleanup for Saturday has been postponed due to the snow!

We are going to do the same thing just do it then. Thanks to everyone for your hard work in putting this together. Its very disappointing for everyone. May in the rockies I guess. We will be making up new flyers and keeping everyone in the know. Thanks again and see everyone on June 17th.

  • Chinaman Gulch 20170225

We had a small group for a winter run to Chinaman Gulch.  Although there was snow on the ground when we left home in the springs, it didn’t deter this group of drivers from heading out for some fun.  We stopped for gas in Johnson Village then continued to the trailhead. Above is the view of
